This is a big deal for the headphone output; my earbuds get very loud so I’m usually making fine adjustments. Midi hookup, two amazing mic preamps, versatile monitoring options, and it runs off of USB bus power This is a nice USB Audio interface however, it may be more than you need. The only two features that I would wish for would be: I’ve had the Saffire 6 audio interface for about a month now and it has been perfect for all of my home recording needs. Getting it to work in windows XP SP2 32 bit was as easy as installing the latest driver from the website and plugging the device.


Not to mention this also comes with the Focusrite plugin suite – not your average crappy freebie throw in, they are excellent sounding quality plugins that can be used in professional productions.

I don’t write reviews but was compelled to let people know how amazing this product is. Just make sure you use the balanced outputs for monitors, as the RCA inputs sound much different and are much weaker.

The sound is full and bright with no audible distortion or compression.
